Jumping a motorcycle battery with a car battery is a very bad idea. There is a considerable risk of burning out a diode in the rectifier/regulator of the bike. The result would be that AC voltage from the stator would not be converted to DC voltage to recharge the battery. I would charge the battery, as recommended in the previous posts, and see if it holds a charge for more than a week. If not, suspect the voltage regulator.
